Cold Storage Pallet

What Is a Cold Storage Pallet?
Nowadays, for transporting goods in small and large warehouses or cold storage facilities, metal cold storage pallets or metal cold storage pallet boxes are used. Pallets are essentially a type of base platform that makes it easier to transport products and allows items to be moved around indoor or outdoor environments more efficiently.

Today, cold storage pallets are produced in various types. Among these, wooden, metal, and plastic models are the most common types available in the market. Using these tools not only simplifies handling but also helps keep workshops and warehouses more organized. Metal cold storage pallet boxes are one of the newer types of pallets produced. These models use plastic or metal walls, which make it possible to transport irregularly shaped and heavy products as well.

Cold storage facilities must be palletized according to their intended use, and the area underneath the pallets and behind the racks must be fully washable. Placing food products directly on the floor of the cold storage is prohibited.
Additionally, pallets must be made of washable and rust-resistant materials.

Advantages of Using Cold Storage Pallets

-Maximizing Cold Storage Capacity
By using pallets, the entire storage space can be utilized effectively, and with the help of racking, products can be organized both vertically and horizontally.

-Reducing Transport Accidents
Using cold storage pallet boxes makes mechanical transport of products easier and reduces the risks associated with manual handling.

-Lower Transport Costs
Using manpower for transporting goods is both time-consuming and costly. However, when these tools are used for transportation, operating costs can be reduced by about forty to fifty percent.

-Easier Inventory Management in Cold Storage
Using cold storage pallets not only makes storing products easier but also simplifies inventory calculations, making stock-taking and warehouse management much more straightforward.
